The short version
We provide structure, judgment, education, writing support, and clearly scoped services. You remain responsible for your decisions, claims, source material, rights, professional review, and final publication choices. No specific creative, publishing, audience, revenue, or business result is promised.
1. Educational and informational purpose
Website articles, emails, videos, challenges, workshops, community discussions, downloads, examples, and general program materials are provided for educational and informational purposes. They are designed to help you think, organize, draft, evaluate, and make informed author or business decisions.
General educational material cannot account for every fact, jurisdiction, contract, platform, audience, or professional duty that may apply to your situation.
2. No licensed professional advice
Unless a written agreement expressly identifies a qualified professional and the specific service being provided, BSM content and services are not legal, tax, accounting, financial, investment, medical, mental-health, compliance, or other licensed professional advice.
Questions involving contracts, defamation, privacy, confidentiality, copyright ownership, trademark rights, regulated claims, taxes, financial reporting, health claims, or another high-stakes issue should be reviewed by a qualified professional who understands your facts.
3. No guaranteed results
Your results depend on factors outside BSM's control, including the quality and completeness of your source material, time invested, decisions, revision, participation, market conditions, platform rules, audience, distribution, and professional review.
BSM does not guarantee manuscript completion, publication, copyright registration, platform approval, bestseller status, media coverage, audience growth, leads, sales, revenue, profit, funding, speaking engagements, business growth, or any other particular outcome.
Any stated program finish line describes the intended work product or process when a participant completes the requirements. It is not a promise that every participant will achieve the same result.
4. Authorship, AI, and provenance
AI tools may assist with bounded tasks such as questioning, organizing, research support, drafting support, editing support, transcription, or error-checking when allowed by the applicable project scope. AI output may contain errors, omissions, fabricated citations, biased language, or material that resembles existing work.
You remain the author and final decision-maker for work published in your name. You are responsible for reviewing, revising, fact-checking, sourcing, clearing permissions, and making any disclosure required by a contract, publisher, platform, professional rule, or law.
The Author Provenance Packet and similar records are practical working tools. They do not create a legal safe harbor, prove copyright ownership, establish a forensic chain of custody, or guarantee eligibility under a publisher's or platform's rules.
5. Copyright, permissions, and publication
BSM does not determine whether every submitted or generated passage is original, noninfringing, defamatory, confidential, or legally publishable. You must have the right to use source materials, interviews, photographs, quotations, data, client stories, trademarks, and other third-party content.
Publishing platforms, retailers, distributors, grant programs, contests, professional bodies, and media outlets set their own eligibility and disclosure rules. Those rules may change. A workflow or recommendation from BSM does not guarantee acceptance by any third party.
6. Testimonials, reviews, examples, and proof
Testimonials and reviews used by BSM must reflect a real person's honest experience with the identified book, product, service, or event. A review of Sean Short's published work is evidence about that work and should not be read as a client-service result unless it says so.
Individual experiences are not a guarantee or a statement of what every customer will achieve. When a featured result is exceptional or materially connected to BSM, the surrounding copy should provide the context or disclosure needed to understand it.
Examples, mockups, sample language, and case discussions may be simplified for teaching. They should not be mistaken for a promise, a complete factual record, or advice for an unrelated situation.
7. Accuracy and timeliness
We work to keep public information accurate and current, but errors and omissions can occur. Prices, dates, schedules, availability, platform features, laws, and third-party policies may change. The current sales page, checkout, written scope, or signed agreement controls the applicable offering.
Do not rely on an undated screenshot, archived page, social post, or third-party summary as the final statement of an active offer.
8. External links and relationships
The site may link to outside websites, tools, books, videos, research, platforms, or providers. BSM does not control and is not responsible for their content, availability, privacy, security, or policies.
A link does not by itself mean BSM endorses the third party or has a paid relationship with it. When a recommendation, endorsement, or link involves a material relationship that could affect how a reasonable person evaluates it, that relationship should be disclosed clearly near the relevant content.
9. Your responsibility
You decide whether and how to use information, drafts, recommendations, templates, tools, and services. Review the work in context, keep source records, use qualified professional help when stakes require it, and obtain approval from anyone whose confidential or protected information may be involved.
By using the site or an offering, you accept responsibility for your final claims, publication decisions, contracts, compliance obligations, and business actions.
